Steve Wall won the first week of the winter league with an excellent 45 points, this week the best score was produced by Dessie Hughes, his 43 points was 2 clear of the next best score. Second and third place had to be seperated by a countback as both Stephen Wilson and Neville Cornett had 41 points, however it was Stephen who took 2nd place pushing Neville into 3rd position, well done fellas keep it up! There were only four 2s recorded this week.
Just a reminder…. on Friday 14th November the annual LOUGHGALL GOLF CLUB QUIZ NIGHT will be held at Hoggs Bar, 8pm sharp! A mixture of general knowledge and topic rounds to test the best, plus an additional surprise to the evenings proceedings which is hoped will please all….. turn up and you will find out? Each team should have no more than 6 people at their table and the entry fee is £3 per person, various prizes for the winning team and other events on the night…. a good mix of ages and individual interests within the team will be advantageous! Some refreshments will be available! Anyone and everyone will be welcome, the more the merrier. Even if you dont know anyone, or have no link with the club but enjoy a quiz please come along and join in…. you will have a good time and leave at the end of the evening with a few more friends! Proceeds raised will go to chartable causes!
