therefore a player player with a handicap index of 19 – course h/cap 18 – playing h/cap 17 – Green tees course rating  69 + playing h/cap 17 = penalty score = 86

off the White tees playing hanidcap = 18

white tees course rating  71 + playing h/cap 18 = penalty score = 89
