An excellent round of golf by Neville Cornett, his nett 66 wins Saturdays strokeplay event, 2nd was Matthew Lavery and 3rd place went to Neal Breen, both Matthew and Neal shot nett 68s. The best gross score was won by Jamie Mulholland with a great round of 76! Section winners were Stephen Graham 0-12, Adrian Faulkner 13-18, Eddie Millar 19+, Senior prize was won by Willie McWilliams, front 9 best score went to Harry Clougher and the back 9 was won by Kevin McCoy. Well done all the prize winners, better luck next time for the also rans!
The Weekly Challenge was won by Harvey Park and Cecil Brownlee took the best senior prize…. well done fellas!

The Holt Shield team played Donaghadee and came away with an excellent 4-1 win, Derick Hynes, Sam Jenkins, and Jonny McKnight all won their matches 2-1. Jamie Mulholland manage to win the 18th hole to get a half and Wayne Crawford came back from 3 down and 4 to play to half his match! A great effort all round fellas and a brilliant start to the Holt Shield!
