It was a most unfortunate weekend for golf at Loughgall Golf Course, Saturday was supposed to be the beginning of our team challenge competition, however there was no golf played. Sunday was a better day and the course was open again but it was only just playable, so those of us who just can’t stay away from the course turned up to do battle amongst ourselves….at least we got a round of golf played, many courses would have been closed for sure.
So im afraid there is very little to report. This coming week we have a foursomes competition (alternate shot pairs), this will be good preparation for several inter-club competitions later in the year. Check the notice board at the club for upto date information. Good luck and enjoy your golf!
