Lady Captain Eileen Mc Clean got the new season underway on Saturday 24th April 2021. Eileen welcomed our new member Rita Mone and wished everyone well for the coming season. The day was a great success in fabulous weather conditions. Angela Mc Cann was the Overall Winner with an impressive 43 points and Caiti Hanna Overall Runner-Up  with an equally impressive 38 points. Our new lady Rita Mone has already won her first prize with winner of closest to Lady Captains Drive.  A great start to the season and a most enjoyable day was had by all.

To date Eileen is enjoying her Lady Captains appointment and this is certainly reflected by her relaxed demeanor on the course.  She is a busy lady off the course, so thoroughly enjoys her golf and continues to go from strength to strength. She is currently working hard as Lady Captain and looking forward to her Lady Captains day in the future. No doubt it will be an enjoyable and highly successful event.

Our small club provides a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where visitors can feel athome on our beautifully manicured and challenging parkland course. At present we are actively recruiting ladies to join us, either experienced golfers or those who are new to the game. Our club Professional Vivian Teague brings fun into golf and is available for lessons. He can be contacted via reception or on 07775700355. Members can choose to pay the annual subscription up front or by monthly Direct Debit. Discounted green fees and other concessions are available at reception.

Our main competition day is Saturday and this enviable position is one we are proud of and pleased to uphold. In fact ladies have no playing restrictions and tee slots are easily secured with our new online booking system or by contacting reception.

Our Lady Captain Eileen Mc Clean and Vice-Captain Pauline Mc Ardle would be very pleased to hear from anyone wishing to join our Ladies section.  Irrespective of ability, a warm welcome awaits new members and visitors to the club.
