After the excitement and success of captains day it’s back to normal, this week the big Saturday competition is the C&G Embroidery stableford event. Our winner is a very handy golfer but unless I’m mistaken it’s the first win of the season for Jonathan McNabb, 43 points was 2 better than Jonathan’s nearest rival and that was James O’Hagan with 41 points and is probably in the most consistant form of his life at the moment. Just behind in 40 points is Ryan Beattie for 3rd place, well done all three of you excellent scoring!  The best gross score is….Jonathan Hewitt, a round of 76 was the best of the day. The best senior score was Eugene Scullion with 36 points!  Section winners are Davy McAdam 0-12, Stuart Treanor 13-18, Dennis Glass 19+, front nine goes to John Alfante and the back nine is Simon Wallace.

The Murder Mystery NI sponsored Weekly Challenge was won by Graham Moore with a great round of 45 points, Willie McWilliams keeps his good form going with 39 points and third was Anthony Ball with 37 points. Well done fellas!

The Nutmeg Treasures sponsored Wednesday Sweep was won by Alan Magill well done Alan, however the turnout was poor for some reason…maybe too many people on holiday….?

The Junior 18 hole competition was won with a very good score of 41 points by John Harrison, closely followed by Daniel Brown on 40 points and Nathan Agg with 39 points, Ben Currie was 4th with 23 points.  Well done lads!

The course is looking in great condition thanks to our grounds people…as always!  A big thanks to them and to all those who turned out for the divot repair evening which was a great help especially with so many making the effort!

Good luck and enjoy your golf!
