After three weeks completed in the winter league the standings are…. Elite 26pts, Rippers 22pts, Relics 19pts, Birdies 18pts, Bandits 11pts, Devils 9pts, Duffers 7pts and lastly the Tuners with 5pts. There is a vast difference in points between the top three teams and the bottom three teams. At this stage it looks unlikely that the eventual winner will be any of the bottom three teams but you never know, sometimes the circumstances change we are not yet half way through the competition so anything is possible. Just noticed that the Tuners who are presently in last position have one player less than the other teams, that obviously wont help but it looks to me that they just need to get four good scores in each of the next few weeks?
The best score of the week was Davy Coote with an excellent 43 points and Jonny McKnight had the best gross score, well done fellas you are really helping your team with those scores!
So those players who are scoring well… keep it up! The rest of us need to raise our game and put in a challenge, remember its in your hands…. dont give up, you never know when you will produce a spectacular round, it usually happens when you least expect it!
