Quiz Night at Hoggs Bar was a great Success

Loughgalls very first Quiz Night was held at Hoggs Bar during the week and proved to be very successful.  Initially a little uncertain if there would be enough people interested, the numbers seemed to double as the starting time of 8.30 approached.  A crowd of about 60-70 enjoyed an excellent evening of quizzing with plenty of banter(as always) between those on the floor and the Quiz Master Barry Rayner and checker/organiser Club Captain James O`Hagan who really did keep everything ticking over nicely.

The winner of the quiz by just 1 point was the team of Graham Buckley & Derick Hynes and their respective better halves.  Hoggs Bar put on a great buffet to feed the many and I think everyone walked away having an excellent evening.  The Club`s Official 2013 Calender was unveiled by Jonny McKnight and went like hot cakes at just a fiver a go….!  Many thanks to all that turned up including Kevin Keegan with the mic & amps and the fellas who set-up the tables and chairs in readiness for the rush!  Special thanks to those members who brought prizes to be raffled and to the staff at Hoggs Bar!

The proceeds of the quiz goes to the Captains charity of Multiple Sclerosis.
