The weather has started to come into play, with a mix of bad and the occasional good weather day. Good or bad weather it does not seem to bother Seamus Golding, his score of 43 points was 3 better than the next man who happened to be be Andy Currie with 40 points and good enough to take the best gross prize off his 10 handicap! Seamus is also pushing very hard for the best overall scores in the winter league. I dont think his 2nd place standing will be enough to satisfy Seamus with his consistant display of good golf he has his eye on the man ahead of him Matthew Andrews, but that gap is closing and there is plenty of time for positions to change. Week 4 positions 1st to 6th are Robinsons Castaways=155, Hunniford Stingers=153, Golding Oldies=149, Balls Bashers=146, Agg Heads=141, Raynermen=140. Hunniford Stingers have moved from 2nd to overall 1st with the Agg Heads dropping into 2nd place the rest have not moved from last week. There were 9 twos recorded and they were by Neville Cornet, Stephen Thompson, Derick Hynes, Sam Jenkins, Steve Wall, Aaron Agg, Kevin McCoy,Mark Placitt and Kris Hunniford, well done all those in the prizes and good luck for the week ahead! Dont forget this Friday is Quiz Night at Hoggs Bar, please come along and support the occasion… 8pm Sharp! Remember… enjoy your golf and play well!
