The final competition before xmas saw both the turkey and ham won with scores of 43 points, two excellent rounds of golf that were only seperated by a better back 9 produced by 18 h.cap Cecil Brownlee to take 1st place over 2nd place Barry Rayner playing off a 13 h.cap. The weather was testing, strong winds and the occasional showers made conditions tricky, so the two top scores of 43 points were well deserving of their prizes.
Once again congratulations to Loughgalls ground staff for the great work they do around the course, its much appreciated by all of us at the club. I am sure any golfer who gets the opportunity to play Loughgall will be impressed with the condition of the course as well as the recent improvements made….great job!
