Sam Jenkins had a great day in the Morgan Transport competition and i am pleased to say…you dont have to play it again Sam? 1st place is good enough for anyone! In 2nd place and snapping at Sams heels was Jonathon Faulkner with 41 points! Stephen Thompsom also had an excellent score, but 40 points was only good enough for 3rd place. The best gross score of the event was Jonathan Hewitt’s round of 74, looks like Jonathan has his eyes set on getting the gross each week, he is bound to slip up one week….. probably win the competition? The best senior score was that of Stephen Kane…39 points!
Section winners were the dashing Dave Chadwick 0-12, Liam McArdle 13-18, Thomas Lavery 19+, front nine goes to Alan Mills and the back nine was won by Mervyn Todd! Well done all those in the prizes, including the 10 players who got a two in their round.
Earlier in the week…. Dean Chambers and Noel Cook both scored 42 points in the Weekly Challenge, Dean managed to beat Noel on a countback. Unlucky Noel but excellent scoring from the pair of you, well done Dean!
