Lorraine Abbott and Janet Forbes were narrowly beaten last year at Carlton House in the final of the Irish Mail Foursomes. The girls are continuing to battle for this prestigious competition in 2013. The first stroke competition of the season was won by Janet Forbes and our Lady Captain Fiona Martin was runner up. Both ladies are playing superbly and going from strength to strength. The first Stableford Open Competition of the season got off to a wintery start. Despite the poor conditions Margaret Collins won the competition with a highly commendable 37 points and Noreen Mc Cone was runner up with 35 points. Well done Margaret. [...]
