Its wonderful golfing weather and the course is looking great! The main competition of the week was a stableford event sponsored by Murder Mystery N.I held on Saturday.  Strange goings on was afoot…. although it may have been a surprize to some it was no real mystery to see Stephen Mills at the top of the leaderboard, a very handy high handicapper who is quite capable of winning a competition or three when in form.  Stephens 41 points kept him a point ahead of 2nd place David Mitchell and a further point ahead of 3rd place Stephen Thompson!  The best gross score was that of Jonathan McNabb, his round of 76 was the best on countback!  Section winners were Kyle Holmes 0-12, Les Lyttle 13-18, Spencer Lawson 19+, front nine goes to James O’Hagan and the back nine was won by the intrepid John Allen. Stepen Wilson scored the best of the seniors!

The previous Sunday Sweep was won by Anthony Ball with 37 points!  Nutmeg Treasures sponsored Wednesday Sweep was won by Nelson Weir!  The Weekly Challenge had some great scores this week and the winner Davy McRoberts only won by the closet of margins, it took a countback to decide the winner.  Unfortunately Stephen Graham came 2nd, but with scores of 44 points you could be forgiven for thinking you might have won the competition, very unlucky!  Well done all those in the prizes and better luck next time for the rest of us!

Team captain John Currie took Loughgalls Ulster 4 Ball team to do battle at Tandragee, we were up from the home leg by 3.5 to 1.5.  On the day the points were shared 2.5 a piece, which meant we won overall and are through to the last 16 in the competition!  Well done fellas, keep it going its all ahead of you!

This Saturday we have the Fred Daly Memorial Trophy Qualifier which is stroke competition and an excellent event to win!

Good luck and enjoy your golf!
