Club Stableford result from 30/1/2010

Saturday`s club stableford was played in reasonable conditions despite the the frozen greens for the early starters. The winner was Dessie Hughes with an excellent score of 40 pts of his 17 handicap. The runner up was Jonny McNabb with 37 pts and 3rd place went to Charlie Johnston with 36 pts. John Allen won the gross prize and Ben McAlister took the juvenile prize with 35 pts.
 
Only three players scored a two at the weekend. Neville Cornett and Dessie Hughes both got theirs at the 11th hole and David McAdam getting his at the 15th hole.
 
There will be another club stableford next Saturday 6th February.
 
Prize Night will be held this Friday 5th February in the Famous Grouse at 8 pm sharp. There will be a free Buffett and live music by the very talented Neil Walker who will be performing a selection hits from his new CD, so bring your partner and dance the night away.
