Loughgall Eclectic Competition - Week 5 Report

Week 5 of the Loughgall Eclectic competition saw John Currie take the outright lead with a score of 45 pts. Four players are close on his tail with 44 pts, Alan McCartney Seamus Golding, Kenny Kerr and Joel Kennedy. Four players are also on 43 pts, John Allen, Dennis Lavery, Jonny McNabb and Jonathan Hewitt. With next week being the final week, anyone could win the Eclectic competition.
There were five "2"'s at the weekend with four of them coming at the 11th hole from Clive Currie, John Currie, Stephen McCann and Brian Nixon Jr. Cecil Brownlee was the other player to get a "2" with his coming at the 13th hole. Dave Chadwick's Mail on Sunday team were beaten by the scoreline of 4 to 1 on Sunday. Captain Dave Chadwick won his match, with all the other games going to the final couple of holes, but unfortunately falling Lurgan's way.
