Loughgall Eclectic Competition - Week 2 Report

Week 2 of the Eclectic competition at Loughgall saw another good turnout and some good scores were recorded. The best round of the week came from Kenny Kerr who covered the course in 73 shots playing off his eclectic handicap of 2, for 37 pts. Kenny went out in 3 over par 40 but came home in 2 under par 33. Birdies at holes 4, 10 and 15 helped his card immensely.
Clive Currie had the second best score of the week along with Harry Clougher and Joel Kennedy who also scored 33 pts. Clive, normally off 11 but playing off 3 in the eclectic competition, covered the course in 78 shots.
Harry Clougher off 2 in the eclectic covered the course in 75 strokes. His round was helped by birdies at holes 4, 9 and 14. Joel who also scored 33 pts went round in 79, his only birdie came at the 9th hole.
Five players scored a "2", with Brian Nixon and Dessie Hughes scoring there's at the 3rd hole. Cecil Brownlee scored his at the 5th hole. Kenny Kerr and Daniel Huey got there "2" at the 15th hole.
Overall after 2 weeks play Jonny McNabb and Kenny Kerr lead, both with a score of 70 gross. Harry Clougher is 3rd with a score of 71 gross. Alan McCartney and Joel Kennedy are next with a score of 73 gross.
